Haha. Laughton was a first round pick remember. We’ve got our own set of problems . Our starting goalie is going away 25 to life and we’ve forgotten how to play hockey/defend

I was noting the other day, that there’s a lot of posters that would never admit them at they are wrong nor that they have made a mistake. Ever. Kudos to you. It’s not a zero sum game.

Oh I get it. It just sickens me how cursed this organization is tbh.

In the story of the The Zen Master, The Boy, & The Horse, the answer from the Zen Master is always the same, "We'll see". It's a kick in the head to the Flyers that they have potentially lost Hart for a extended period of time and maybe forever, but when one door closes another one opens. Ersson now has the opportunity to prove he can be a viable number 1 in this league. Many of us think he can be, so now "We'll see".

Since 2024 began, just 25 days ago, Cutter Gauthier is gone, Tippet gets hurt after finally starting to put it all together, and now Hart is gone. I hate this freak'n year already!

The Flyers have Drysdale. Tippet's injury is far less worse then originally feared and he should be back soon. Hart is a loss but he was really just an average goalie. It's certainly not that bad.

I always spin what I actually think and believe. If it's negative or positive. You know, you haven't been around here long but I used to be a accused of being a poster that rubber stamps and approves of everything the Flyers do. Of wearing orange colored glasses.

So nothing bad has happened yet today other than the fact that the sh!tty weather is back and melting our pond hockey lakes?

Well the good news for me is that I picked up Errson in fantasy because I was desperate for wins. So I now have potentially a solid starter I can keep for next season.

Really, I can't see you rubber stamping anything, you call as you see it. You are a realist. You call out the positives and negatives of the team.

Gonna be interesting to see how Ersson handles being the man. Much more pressure I would think. Merslikens wants out of Columbus? I wonder if the Flyers would make a play for him although I don't know his price tag.

Hopefully Olle Lycksell can get a couple of games here to show what he can do. Him, Cates, Hathaway could actually be a solid 4th line you could trust that could play 10-12 minutes.

We had two good goalies and now one is looking at 20 years in jail so we basically have no backup. We will likely no have to sign a vet in the offseason to back up. I like Ersson but he doesn’t have a huge sample size so if that doesn’t work out, it’ll be an issue.

I guess those that were hoping to see them as bottom feeders will be happy with what’s transpired. Certainly hasn’t been great so far in 2024.
