Staios got a pathetic return for Chychrun. If Briere could match that then he wasn't very interested in the first place. It also obviously made zero sense for PHI to acquire either of those LD as they should be building for the future. |

I dont buy any of this. There is no reason to add these players when the Flyers have a full lineup. Flyers have been prone to poor decision making but even this is too far fateched |

They already wised up enough to stay away from "hometown" Chychrun, and part timer Chabot.
Why would they deal assets for a bottom 6 tweener in Boucher, or a middle 6 guy in Greig?
Stay the course. Try to draft well.
Who am kidding? As soon as the Flyers clear cap space they are throwing huge money at free agents like they always do, in an attempt to buy their way in to relevance. Its the 90's all over again. |

I wonder if an Ottawa trade could be bigger to include Giroux? He used to play in Philly.
Another option is Mattias Samuelsson from Buffalo. He was born in the Spectrum while his dad Kjell played for Philly. Maybe swap Risto for him? |
