What can you say, but that N.J. had 3 goals on three shots on the PP. The PK is one of the reasons the Red Wings will miss the playoffs. Again.😢

Doesn't the Wings video replay team have some input into the challenges that the coach decides to make?

Jake Walman has points in 7 of his last 8 games. He's leading the Sharks in ice-time. He's leading the Sharks with a +5 rating.

Shane Gostisbehere leads Carolina d-men with 17 points in 20 games. He's playing top 4 minutes and running their PP ranked 7th in the NHL.

Lucky that we have a group of pro scouts, led by Kirk Maltby and a handful of other former players who work with our GM. Together, they decided to:

-send Walman packing with a 2nd round pick
-let Gostisbehere walk when he seemed to indicate a desire to stay
-we used the cap savings on Gustafsson who can't even make our opening line-up most nights. He's coming back next year at $2M.
-Gustafsson is having trouble beating out Holl, Chiarot, and Petry who make a combined $10.5M and all were given some form of NTC

The incompetence from this organization is unreal. We could very realistically have the following d-men:

Walman-Seider
Edvinsson-
Ghost-

That's the making of a competent group. What we have now is complete garbage.

They send the angles to the floor monitor. Of all the angles made available to the viewer none of them justified that challenge

Please just stop. You ignore everything they did to make this worse. I’m fine with incremental progress but at the quarter point that PK is unacceptable.

They screwed up. The constant defense is that Kane said Gus was amazing on the pp. no offense but those Chicago teams made a lot of players look really good. My biggest issue is, why weren’t the Seider and Raymond deals done sooner? At least one or two people think waiting on those deals screwed us in Gost. The Walman theories, good luck. I’m digging through that turd of a deal for the peanut. We have options to upgrade and I think it’s time to do something. Even if you’re not playoff bound, don’t let this be the culture. Mike is gone, but deserves better than this mess. No wonder they chant for Jared Goff at the games
