The trade in CWHL-ClosedWindowHockeyLeague was unsuccessful for the following reason:

Lefty will go over the maximum roster size of 23.

As a result it will not be processed.

Veer off topic for a sec:

Every year, at the Phx (AZ, now) games there is usually a strong contingent of BC folks that come down.....supposedly, airfare + hotel + ticket is roughly what one would pay for good seats at Rogers.

If any of you HB folks were thinking about coming down for the Van game in early March, let me know ahead of time and I'll buy your dinner before the game, OR, if you want to fly into T-Town, I'll take the day off work, show you some cool desert stuff....there's a bunch of deep caves, movie sets from western films, blah, blah blah around here, and drive up to the game and talk hockey.

Hmmmm.... that 902% seems objectively lowered by a small handful of games.
Seems like, thus far, one can tell what kind of game Miller is going to have by the end of the 1st perod.
As a coach, you want to put faith in your starter, but if it were me... I wouldn't- if you give up 2 goals in roughly eight shots- yank, time to go. Simple call: Dude, you are not on your game tonight, and it shows, take some rest. Pull him before the game gets out of reach.

Good Blog Carol, I really don’t have too much problem with Millers play, I would suggest the area of concern at this standpoint would be (A) Defenceman (B) Forwards playing responsibly in their own end. Work on that +/- and try to get more top 4-6 Defensive depth for a playoff push.

I saw an episode of Criminal Minds like that last night! You guys are creepy!!!

Miller has been "good enough".
But I think Lack would have been good enough.
Same for Hiller, Greiss, Nabokov, Vokoun or a handful of other UFA Goalies that could have played in tandem with Lack, for way less $.

I would have preferred a cheaper option but we certainly can't complain with the results so far.

Miller's stats are a product of the team's play. I'd say he has only stolen 1 win so far. Otherwise he is just making the saves he is supposed to make.

Every time you talk about players in your blog it sounds as if the sky is falling.

You have a blog here with 5 of the 6 options as negative...and one that is perectly happy with his play....seems way skewed, there was no neutral option for instance.

Also, I didn't get the same read you got on Jensen....I got that he played good but needs more time and didn't outplay anyone for the job right now. They way you wrote it added a negative persepctive the coach didn't add....
