I read the title and then thought hey Tanner gets one right. Then I had to read the adolescent drivel and the "I told you so" stuff. Just evaluate the trade James! We already know how much you hate Tippett and Doan. |

You're putting my kids through college, which is nice, but your constant whining makes me sick. |

Looks like Stepan & Raanta are being moved for DeAngelo & 7th OA. Yotes are looking pretty solid next year. |

He was 100% right about that fossil, Tippett.

don't think this is as much a fleecing as you are making it out to be. Lots of nhl miles on the Dman coming the coyotes way. Maybe Bowman knows something alleged boy wonder doesn't. He will now be in a more prominent role. On a lesser team
where maybe his flaws are exposed more. Better to sell a year early than a year late
One would think the return would be better, though they like
murphy and think a change will do him good. |

Don't forget hammer has the rare ability (at an elite level at least) to play BOTH sides.. Huge loss for the hawks. I like Murphy enough as a big semi mobile righty.. But hammer? Our best D for years now?! I've been critical of stanbo for years now, this is it for me, pending some unforeseen moves of course |

Glad I can help but seriously no need for the petulance. A professional blogger should be above that stuff. Just some simple and friendly advice. |

Roles don't get much more prominent than what #4 has been doin for years bubba, limited injury history as well..
At least the 'since day 1' yotes fan in me is happy...

Coyotes just fleeced the Rangers too. What a world we are living in. |

OEL is obviously a stud, but you can't blame Murphy for not developing when he's playing with hot garbage (worst roster in the NHL by far right last season).
We'll see how he performs playing with the Hawks. Cost-controlled RHD are not cheap, and Boychuk (similar player to Hammer) was only moved for two second round picks at the time he was moved to the Isles.
Good for the Coyotes, but not sure why they acquired him if they aren't winning anytime in the next two seasons. |

I think he was right and wrong. Tippet is a good coach but the time is right for a change. He gave his opinion on that in his last blog. No need for the continued beating of it on a blog about the trade.

It's a pretty big fleecing, two question marks for a high end 2-way dman. |

chayka crushed holland on the chychurn trade.
and he just dumped an ahl dman on a terrible deal on chicago.
maybe it's chayka who knows something. |

Well like I've been saying - the Coyotes have the money and pieces to make themselves competitive instantly. |
