Brassard had two good seasons. He's a third line center on most cup caliber teams. He's non essential.

" Dorion will have zero leverage in any contract extension “negotiations” with Karlsson."

He could threaten to trade him to Buffalo for the last year of his deal unless he resigns for cheap. The fear alone of having to play 1 season in Buffalo will likely cause him to become super reasonable and lower his demands to remain in Ottawa

There is zero percent chance any team will pick up Ryan's $7.25M per year contract.
Not sure why the Sens traded Turris, their 2017 #1 pick and a 2018 #1 pick for a centre who statistically is no better than Turris.
Duchene has been a declining asset for over two years now. At 5ft 11 he's no giant. He is also not a #1 centre. Ottawa is in trouble come June 2019

Bobby Ryan's contract is definitely a tough one to move but not impossible. It'll just cost them a lot of assets to get a team like the Coyotes to take on that mess.

coyotes won't take that contract.

they only take on zombie contracts with no real $ attached to them, only cap hits.

Wow, you really are delusional. You get competitive for a bit, and think your all that. Tell you what, Buffalo is a lot more than you think, perhaps(((GASP))) even on par with Ottawa. Soon, with a genuine owner desiring to win above money, Buffalo will totally be clear of its past NHL history, and perhaps(((GASP))) even surpass Ottawa in that regard.
