Bill should I be worried that Patrick really wasn't noticeable? |
|
|
|
i think stolie realizes he is potentially playing for his career right now and he isn't gong to let that happen. with the competition around him now after losing a season to injury may have him super motivated. when he hears the name Hart he has to know its time to give all or nothing because only two nhl (elliot, neuvy) and two ahl (hart, stolie, lyon)

Did Lehtera close his eyes and just shoot the puck for his goal tonight? |

Yes. A torn ACL is a 9-month timetable. Can't really accelerate it much. |

People forget that he was one of our top prospects at one point and considered to have starter upside |

I mean it's a little worrisome but it is just one game so I wouldn't be too concerned |

It’s not worrisome at all. Konecny didn’t light the world on fire tonight either. These aren’t even the combinations used in practice before the pre season started. |

Thanks. Kid's luck is garbage. Hope the rest of his career is Ripkin-like.

Hi Bill,
Well pre season hockey is here. Real games that count are almost here. The long hot summer is over. I for one, would like to thank you for all your hard work keeping us up to date and sane over the summer. There is no one else doing the great work that you are. Thanks for all your efforts. |

Don't worry, you guys.
You can totally create Morgan Frost in NHL '18 and play him at 3C that way. |

Bill,
What's you read on 81 Carsen Twarynski? I've liked what i have seen from him. Seems kind of like Aube-Kubel type. Plays hard. Skates pretty well. Has some offensive game but seems like a pretty solid 4th line type? |

Why worry about Patrick? He should be treating this preseason like he is a veteran. He knows he has a job. He isn't playing for his life and is still probably getting the feel for things as a healthy player.
Worrying about him in just splitting hairs. |

Not saying he can't be a starter but he was a top prospect in a shallow pool at that time.
I do hope he plays well as maybe it will afford the Flyers a chance to move Neuvirth. Still feel one goalie is going to have to go unless this new Lyon injury is long term. |
