Karine Hains: Boxing Day Massacres All 3 of the Habs’ prospects competing at the World Junior Championships were in action yesterday, here’s a quick run down of how they fared.

The division of Team Canada looks weak, after Canada and Finland. That will be the big game.

I guess the Swiss can put up a fight at times, but they have never been a power house.

cole slawfield probably had the worst showing last night in the history of the world juniors. Can't call him Goal considering he has 0 (zero) points against tne worst team in the tournament. I would say his potential to be a bust has risen. Canadiens fans should be very concerned.

No showed an important game vs Russia and got no easy points against a putrid Austria team. Don't make excuses for him. He's just not ready for prime time and may never be.

In the second game of the day, Team Canada was taking on the poor Germans. Why poor Germans? Well, for one thing they had no exhibition games to get ready, but more importantly, because of Covid, they only had 14 skaters and it showed.
