This thread in the draft is protecting under the 10 skaters, 1 goalie rule. Here is the protected list:

Habs protect Drouin, not Evans. Otherwise your list is good.

I like how four of the keepers aren't even Habs fans

He was stellar in trade proposals in the Yahoo fantasy pool this year though. He would also be on my protection list.

But Gramps28 is an ordinary pick for me. And I wont comment on the Mr.Peanut situation. He is dealing with personal issues and we should all support him through those dark times.

Actually Danault will not be protecting. Dude testing his UFA status, why protect him?
Replace him by Drouin

unless he spoke to the Bell center parking lot guy and got confirmation that Drouin is doing very well and intends on staying here, and that the habs want to keep him

On a pure hockey level, performance/contract, it's fair to argue about not protecting him

oh I know, but his unknown situation on top of that makes it even more absurd to suggest that he'll be protected

Complete agreement. Can't see Francis risking it either

I hope the price to prevent SEA from grabbing him isn't as steep as some suggest, but MB might still consider it, he's very valuable to the team... unless the habs already have someone else in mind, but at this point there are basically zero certainties

Option number 1 is interesting if you want your chicken to poop over its pants instead of in its pants.

But #2 if you want to discover a beau coco tout chaud dans ses levi's.
