Well THAT outta be interesting! Curious, like you, to see who slots in the 1st line.

Wholly agree that JV needs to hone his D skills. He has the tools to be a pretty impressive player, just needs to find that groove. I think once he hits his stride, he’ll surprise people. The limit is really what he makes it. He has time, the team has time. But putting in someone who will only hurt the team is a bad idea. The thing is, the start to this season has been very surprising. No one knows if it can be sustained, but pretty sure you’ll not find anyone who thinks we’re SCPO-bound…but who knows?!?!? I have delusions, mind you. But always hopeful!!!

Tonight’s going to be a good game, normally is a little more highly charged between these 2. Shutting down the 1st line is a big ask for our D, but TOR’s top $30m+ guys only have 3G between, last I saw….point is, they’re going to be hungry. Stecher needs to be in the line-up; his speed & energy really have an impact. Supposed Tommy G starts, but Ned’s starting to show what he’s capable of. Definitely a barn-burner of a game!!!!

Popcorn and Tropical Punch Kool-Ade kinda night in chilly SC (58 tonight!!!).

Thank you for not slandering Bertuzzi as an "anti-vaxxer" like Kevin Allen constantly does.

It’s such a hot-button topic. Everyone has opinions, but chastising players here is, I think, not needed, whether they vax or not. The political crap just devolves into nastiness that really has no place here. Jeremy shows SO much respect for both players AND his posters, slingin political crap is disrespectful of what he gives us: an a-political place to forget the troubles in the world and respect each other’s hockey views while rooting for the Wings!

True - it was refreshing to see that Bertuzzi being a dim human and refuting science wasn’t pointed out.

Still no 1C anywhere in the system. That's a bigger problem than a couple of bottom pair d-men that you don't like.

Absolutely!

Greiss made another good case, he needs to stay in the net and not try “playing” the puck! Every time he plays the puck, it seems it goes to the opposition.

It is fun to see how many people have their little feelings hurt over the medical treatments of a person they’ll never meet in their lives. Of course you believe Bert should only get his medical advice from you, as you are the foremost expert. You know exactly why he was willing to give up hundreds of thousands of dollars. You know for certain he’s not allergic to ingredients in the vaccine. You know for certain he doesn’t have immune system issues that increase risks. You know for certain no one in his family has had adverse reactions.

His team accepted his decision. His management accepted his decision. His teammates accepted his decision, but fans and writers who don’t know him, nor know anything about him, think they should get to control his medical treatments, because their feelings are hurt. Pathetic.

1. My feelings aren’t hurt at all. I’m emotionally balanced so my feeling lazy don’t get hurt by issues like these. My healthcare system has been ‘hurt’ and quality of life. That irks me, but doesn’t hurt my feelings.

2. It’s not a medical treatment - it’s a vaccine. Medical treatment is what some these same individuals who refuse to believe the doctors about the validity and impact of vaccines will go get if they become injured or ill.

3. I don’t give advice on science based decisions. I listen to Scientists and Doctors who have dedicated their lives to their field and are the authority on year matters. So not sore what advice I personally have to Bertuzzi? He is choosing to listen to yahoo, Twitter, Facebook, and chiropractors so that’s his choice.

4. He states his objection to the vaccine has nothing to do with allergy or medical condition and it’s a personal choice. So you k ow for certain any of these things either?

5. I do know that none of his teammates nor anyone on the organization would ever dare outwardly comment in a negative way about his decision. That would be a real dumb thing to do. There would so much distraction it would be kept in house….Wait!? So you know ‘for certain’ (as you like to repeat) that they don’t object to his decision? Everyone.

6. I’m pretty sure nobody is saying that they should control anyone. Just calling it a selfish dumb decision.
