Pointless to root for this team any longer. Been a fan since the mid-70s. This may be the lowest point in terms of my loyalty toward this once proud franchise. Absolutely no direction, thanks to clueless ownership, a “GM” not worth a damn (here nor when he was in Minnesota), an interim coach that would struggle to find a head coaching job in the minors, much less at the NHL level. Team is void of the talent needed to compete on a regular basis. Can’t continue to cry about Covid…every team has dealt with it. Nothing can be done at this point to turn things around in the foreseeable future. Bad contracts, too many injuries that seem to always plague this team year after year (maybe clean house with the medical staff, too?!!). Just absolutely disgusted at this point.

Not particularly, but even then the organization found a way to rebound. I just don’t see a similar roadmap for this team, given ownership, front office, coaching staff, bad contracts, etc.

They have the stones to keep running the same dog poop show and have the fans keep buying this dog poop but they don’t have the smarts to fix the problems on the team.
If they did have the smarts they would know that a better performance on the ice means more fans watching, attending and buying more Flyers products equals more profits for the team.

I am absolutely dumbfounded how anyone still spends money on this franchise. The product is terrible and the front office openly scoffs at the idea of ever evolving with the rest of the league.
Just read a article on Hockeyfeed.com that the Flyers blocked the Habs from hiring Danny Briere as GM. The article was written 18 hours ago. I apologize if you guys already discussed.

Hayes should have never been allowed to play over the last month. It was obvious to anyone with working eyes that he was badly laboring and nowhere near his usual self. I don’t care if he wanted to play, that’s irrelevant. The entire medical and training staffs need to be overhauled.

Looked like the usual disengaged slow Kevin Hayes have seen for most of his career. Every once in awhile he has a short stretch where you say wow but those are few and far between
