I agree that Anderson isn't having an ideal beginning to the season, but this seems to be the case with the majority of veterans on the team, the kids are running the show while the older guys are barely contributing.

maybe, just maybe Anderson (and Gallagher) would have better results playing with Monahan.

definitely lol. I wonder if there are weird vibes at times in the dressing room, the players aren't dumb, they can see what's going on, everybody is taking their turn trying to carry Hoffman on their line and see if he can get anything going offensively, but to no avail. I'm sure he's a nice guy, but at some point that poop has got to start getting on your nerves a bit...

I don't think "ATM" has anything to do with the blog but kudos to her if she knows what you're talking about, especially since her name isn't Karen. |

There is 0% chance Dadanov wants his $6.5 million dollar contract terminated. I've seen this point made in the Habs twittersphere but it's wishful thinking. The best we can hope is that this little "wake up" call gets him going. |

unless he misses Mother Russia so much that he's willing to do anything to go back as soon as possible, which sounds completely insane considering what's going on but hey, you never know.

That could actually solve 2 problems for the team with one move

I reiterate 0% chance. I've only ever even heard of a couple people who turned down huge money because they loved their country. Dadanov is not one of those people as is evidenced by the fact he's left Russia to come play in the NHL twice now. |

yeah I know, I was kidding, I was alluding to the fact that his country is currently at war, which I find would make it even more baffling if he still decided to go back. |

I suspected you were being sarcastic. But you can never tell on the internet and there are people who are saying this who are 100% serious. |

I for one would like to see Slaf with Monahan. Doesn't have to be all game, but roll him in there some and see what happens. |

yeah I often get confused about this as well, but I've realized it's less scary and depressing to just assume that everyone on the internet is being sarcastic all the time... |

I just got back from 11 days in Montreal…..and I thought Hoffman was a horrible player on TV……..then I seen him play against the Wild at home!! Jfc he is a terrible, lazy player in any zone at any time of the game. The play dies on Hoffs stick every time |

yet St-Louis keeps complimenting him, imagine the kind of dirt he must have on the coach to be lauded like that all the time even if he's playing like poop... |

what good would it make to critize him in front of the cameras?
I'm pretty sure he can talk to him in his office |

I know, I'm not expecting him to do that either, sounds more like something Tortorella would do. besides it would be silly to throw players under the bus in front of the media in MTL, St-Louis would end up having to apologize like Sheldon Keefe did in Toronto lol. my point was more that at the end of the day he doesn't have to compliment the guy either, but whatever, no big deal, the objective this season ultimately isn't to win, so in a way everyone is a winner, the important thing is to participate and have fun.
