Maybe a little high in a flat-cap league, but the cap is going up $8-9M in the next 2 years and probably more over the life of this contract. A couple years from now, this deal will be the norm for guys who can consistently flirt with 30 goals and 70 points over an 82-game season. That's where Terry is at this point. The only real question is whether he can maintain that into his early 30s.
Those of us who were masochistic enough to watch the Ducks 80 times last year know the value that Terry brings. I'm happy with this deal.
