Surprised BUF didn't trade for Kulak instead so they could add more LHD.

Savoie has been in Buffalos dog house for some reason, allegedly missing curfews, allegedly.

May seem like an overpay but I’m not the highest on Savoie.

Seems like a good trade for both sides.

I'm not an expert on the players but i feel like the Oil got the better return.

He was drafted 9th overall and has shown he can live up to that position. You can talk him down, but if that's the best you could do for him why even move him.

You got absolutely fleeced.

Wow! I liked Mcloed's effort, and I also like Tulio...but WOW! What a great pickup! This Savoie kid can play.
Awesome.

Savoie is 5’9” 175 lbs, he’s just another Kailer Yamamoto. This about saving money, not picking up a great prospect.

This is the kind of trade where you say yes and make it official before the other team comes to their senses. Edmonton completely fleeced Buffalo

I don't know this McLeod guy from a hole in the wall but from what I'm reading, a decent 3rd line center with a decent 200ft game... Correct?...

If so, this has Lindy's prints all over it as the Sabres continue to put together one of the most boring teams since the 2024 Islanders.

As far as Savoie... By far their most talented offensive prospect. I think this kid could develop into a Brayden Point type player.

This is scary to watch as a Sabre fan. They've had a paradigm shift in philosophy from accumulate highly talented prospects with a run them out of your building type of game to trap/grind em out kind of wins.

Either way... Edmonton absolutely fleeced a GM who is clearly in over his head.

From what I’m reading Lindy has to teach this guy how to hit and go to the net.

Hard to read the tea with this one. Savoie is highly skilled.

I mean maybe?

Savoie played 5 minutes of an AHL playoff hockey game and got benched and sent back he was so bad.

He could be great, he could be an avg NHLer.

Won't truly know for a bit but his upside is massive.

Don't be too upset though...McLeod is a really solid young player. He's a good grinder, plays a solid 200ft game, and he is fast...like really fast.
Tulio is a great young hard working kid. He'll be a Sabre one day fairly soon. These guys aren't terrible players.

I like when people think draft position correlates to anything, what exactly does "living up" to a 9th overall pick even mean lol.

Unreal. Buffalo sucks so bad. They’ll be in contention for worst team in the league this season. Playoff drought will undoubtedly carry on
