Cotter on 4th lone to provide scoring throughout . and as Keefe said it start with the tenacity of the 4th then the line changes to 1st and we score... thats how it works.

I think we needed 4 things -
A top scorer -tries did not play . Im glad we didnt do a PALAt and overreach just to do it .
A 3rd line center ,who wins faceoffs --DID that . Glass is good on faceoffs , very good is his own end and can score a litte.
A D man -Due to injuries we needed some D.. got D ..A stud in Dumoulin and a depth player.
A scorer for bottom 6. Someone to put the puck in the net. We got Sprong for a 7th pick.... if he works great, If not no big deal.

so 3 out of 4. truies to get the scorere . The only 2 really fit Rantanen ( Dallas offered a lot ) and Marchand -FLorida gave up way to much -hes 36 !

The others Palmieri , Oreilly , Donato , were not traded and others received much more than we were willing to give. Idea of a trade is to better the org. not just make a trade.
