My buddy at work who is a Leafs fan sent me some article from some College math whiz that had the Canucks meeting the Leafs in the cup final within the next five years. He inputted a bunch of numbers into his computer program and it spit out a Nucks Leafs final lol - LordHumungous
Push that nerd off the scaffolding. Leafs are never making it out of the 3rd round just like the previous 100 years.

The Brandon Wheat Kings have convinced Vegas Golden Knights prospect Marcus Kallionkieli to sign in the CHL, something we suggested when the NHL club signed him to an entry-level contract earlier this summer. The Wheat Kings are owned by Vegas executive Kelly McCrimmon, who picked Kallionkieli in both the NHL draft and CHL Import Draft within just a few days in June.
FA should look at buying a CHL or USHL team. Control the development of players for a couple of years like McCrimmon is doing with VGK prospects. |

He just needs to own it you fool. JB does the work in drafting the players and FA's junior team just picks them in the import draft. |

Yeah, sorry, until the Canucks can get their AHL development together then no thanks. I’ll take my chances with these prospects dealing with their own teams.
They hired Cull who has major question marks and also Walker who was just let go as head of player development.
They need to get their own poop together first. |

Shut it Nucker. Plan is full proof.
Comet Corey says Cull has no question marks except for the ones the fans made up.
Walker was let go to take another job offer. Higgins is in better shape.
The poop is so together they can throw it a good distance without it falling apart. |

This topic is up again in canucksarmy.
If Cull cant get chemistry this season, they need to can his ass and they dont need a full season to justify it.
I'll rage if Gaudette is only playing 9 minutes a night and plays with grinders.

Just another very overblown topic by fans who think that every drafted players at any age is going to destroy the league. |

I’m not saying Cull is bad, but he has question marks. It’s not like the Comets overachieved and most of the prospects has respectable D+1 seasons. They also got ravaged by callups/injuries
If you think he’s a good AHL coach then that’s fine. |

Actual quote:
"Trent Cull has been raked over the coals by the Canucks fanbase for how he has handled the young prospects…more so for last year than the year before. There is some merit to the concerns expressed by those who want to see a coaching change as far as how those young players were deployed. That said, when we dig a little deeper into things, I think the man deserves another season on the job before we start sending him packing."
He actually says somewhat the opposite if you look again at the two bolded parts. He says there is some merit. |

The team had question marks. The vets were poop players. Clearly that has been addressed because the vets they have now had much much better stats than the ones Utica had last season.
the team is watching 546 man-games from last year move on, along with 104 goals, 158 assists and 262 points.
Comets will, however, be adding a group of players who played 249 AHL games last year and put up 74 goals, 101 assists, and 175 points in Camper, Graovac, Perron, and Bailey.
Injuries were insane last season. A steady line up will go along way for the players creating chemistry instead of 6-10 roster changes per night. |

Corey makes a good point that is pretty much standard across the board. The truth probably lies between the players who complained about their ice time and deployment and the ones who praise Cull for their development because they got the ice time. My question is are the right players being rewarded? The Canucks Prospect Show put up a pretty good argument one weekend that sometimes not.

I don’t really care much but team performance, just prospect development, winning is a nice bonus for sure though. Cull needs to find that right balance between putting prospects in positions to succeed and also making them earn opportunities. Plus his communication skills may need some work if we’re going to believe what Palmu said.
I’d love to get to where Tampa is with their farm, they’re a perennial playoff squad that’s filled with mostly 25 and under players. That would be a fun team to follow if the Comets can build that. |

Maybe I'm reading it wrong, but I'm pretty sure ASL was suggesting that it's possible to be a "real" fan even if you haven't been a fan of that team your whole life. He was paying you a compliment, and debunking Hawksey's "I'm a real fan because" blog. |
