Evander Kane making 7 million, is on the 3rd line. Shocking!!
Now onto an actual topic that matters. I really hope that just because he won a couple of games, that Hak doesn’t overdo it with Elliott. He is not a goalie that you should be starting night in/night out.
Tonight would be a good night to give Neuvirth a start and then you can go back to Elliott against Arizona if you wish. |

Keep your foot on the gas tonight, Flyers and play a 60-minute game. A win going into Glendale would be awesome. |

100% agree. Give Elliott a break once in a while. Overworking him last season is what ultimately did him in. |

Agree 100% about starting Elliot again. With these two, even if Elliot is your clear #1, Hak needs to have a schedule with the goalies and stick to it.
Neuvirth should start tonight. |

As long as Neuvirth gets the start in one of these games I can live with that. We don't need Elliot getting run on to the DL like last season. |

Agree on Elliot getting a break. As far as tonight I can see both sides. Elliot seems to be if finally getting into a grove, it’s early in the season so fatigue shouldn’t be an issue.
I also think Nuevy will have a bounce back game after the Isle debacle |

Nothing worse than having to take a nap so you can stay up for a late Saturday game.

I totally understand resting Elliott. He is not a 60 game guy. But, with our recent play and the fact that we need points, I'd ride the hot goalie. We have a healthy stable if goalies (at this minute😀) so we have depth if Elliott starts to struggle late in year. Or if he breaksdown from overuse.
I don't think we can afford to rest the hot goalie with where we are right now. This team needs someone to bail them out.
Coyotes are playing well right now too. These next 3 will be tough regardless of who is in net. |

WTF I was just about to say that and freakin' 2nd comment in...
I'd save Neurvirth for the first Arizona game, that way when he gets injured the Flyers will be back home to call up another goalie |

I'd go with Elliott tonight and come back with Neuvy next game. None of the next 3 games are easy..just hoping that Elliott can get us points tonight and Neuvy is ready to bounce back as you say. |

Just as long as he doesn't play between 15-19 mins a game, his numbers don't look so swell then. |

I’m feeling a rant coming on...some people need to step down from their high-all-knowing horses and start being real. I keep reading how the Flyers fan base is a bunch of drama queens that panicked after the first 11 games of the season when, in their almighty opinion, the Flyers are, of course, a playoff team and it was just the normal ebb and flow of a 82 game season.
While I do think that the Flyers are righting the ship and should be a playoff team, getting off to a really poor start in this competitive league, with such parity between teams, can be a horrible, next to impossible hole crawl out from and changes how your team has to play. Thankful this may not happen, but to say that it was never a possibility and mock the thought is a word I won’t use here.
