Leafs don't really have any truly crippling bad albatross contracts on their roster, they're capped out but their money is in elite players in their prime and they're legit contenders so I can't complain.
True they did already pay the price to move some bad contracts but they came out okay.
At least we don't have contracts like Phaneuf anymore. Or Clarkson - oh wait lol |

Reilly got what he was worth at the time, but he certainly wasn't overpaid. Lou. Dubs did quite well with Johnsson and Kap, not so well with the big boys. Hopefully they prove him right and take a huge step forward this year. |

I didn't say Rielly was overpaid. But today, he's underpaid. So is Kadri. So is Andersen.
The Leafs overpaid some guys but they got some guys on nice deals too. They balance out. |
