I wanted Barry hired since he left the Preds. It was a great win and Beau continues his great play. He has to keep going to the net. I wonder if JVR regrets not signing with the Isles now?

Sure let's trade for Purple Hayes. Flyer fans seem to be unhappy with him. Another lousy NHL contract. I'll take trades over these UFA signings. Isles playing very well. I do not want to get overconfident. Always room for improvement and maybe a need for a trade down the line. If Isles can win a Cup with this exact roster that's great.

A couple of stars in the NBA you are gold. The NHL does not work this way. JT was a great story returning home and is a great offensive player but they had a 1C already in Matthews and not having JT's salary allows you to fill many other holes.

It's so fun though Jimmy. Our former fearless leader has no Garth and Cappy with the Leafs and no two buildings and yet his team is still having problems. How could this be with such a wonderful player and awesome team?
