Det Acquires:
-Kevin Fiala
-MIN 7th rd Pick
Min acquires:
-DET 3rd round pick
Min doesn’t have it’s 3rd rounder in 2020. Maybe if Min gives up 5th instead of 7th, they upgrade to the WSH 2nd round pick that Det holds.
Stevie Y seems to like his undersized forwards. |

I can live with this. Detroit has 2 3rd round picks. There are enough expiring contracts that this could work. Well done! |

No more trades for wingers for a while...Wings have enough of those for now and apparently they just signed another winger Malte Stromwall. They need a #2 center for next season unless Veleno or Ras are ready to step up. They also need left handed defensemen so no to trading McIsaac. Could also use a good young starting goalie to replace Howard and eventually Bernier. |

I was sent his info by gergeswillems. No clue where that came from. I don’t mind a winger as long as one goes out with one coming in

I only said I’d take that deal if it was offered. I didn’t say it was a high probability trade. All just in fun |

See the Derick Brassard trade from 2019. Nearly identical trade, but brassard was a proven 50-point guy on a down-season (compared to an unproven younger Fiala on an up-season). What drives Fiala’s price down to a 3rd in my mind is lack of interest from other teams. Reality of it is this though... Wild acquired Fiala recently, so they won’t want to flip him for a pick which is always a wildcard. And the Wings shouldn’t be trading away ANY picks this season, period. |

Wings don’t have a 4th round but do have 2 3rd and 2 2nd. I don’t mind flipping a 3rd if the return is right. But, for the most part this is a time to acquire picks. |

I would give the Rangers a call and try to workout a deal involving Mantha + for DeAngelo and Georgiev.
Gives the Wings a right handed defensemen and a young goalie with some potential. As much as I love Mantha and his potential, he has had injury issues every year. |

Meh. Left D would be wiser to target than Right D imo. I would try very hard to get Sergachev. |

For Mantha? No. For AA? Yes. For Lindstrom and a 2nd? Yes. |

We need forwards, so Montour and Ullmark wouldn't be enough for Mantha. How is AA been playing lately |

Why would Tampa trade him though? Don't see any reason they would. Maybe if the Wings wind up with pick 4, use that to dangle in front of them. |

I feel like they'd dump Killorn at the end of this season rather than trade a young dman. His NTC becomes modified after the season. |
