Agreed!

I think our defensive corps is solid. A middling group that depends on a few things swinging one way or the other. Optimistically, the emergence of bouchard, return to form of Barrie and possibly Larsson, development of Jones and/or bear, would be nice to see. Here is hoping!

Also, like the KK/Barrie pairing. Think that is the way to go.

If I were Edmonton, I'd enquire about CLB or NYR's situation and see what develops concerning goalies.

I'm okay with Koski but Smith... too polarizing of a player in terms of consistency.

Forward group is a bit better but I think there’ll be some regression. D is not good. Goalies are older and likely worse. I think there’s a chance they miss the playoffs.

Relying on Smith, that is more trouble waiting to happen. He is like Jekyl and Hyde and he is a year older and Kosk from what I've seen he is very streaky like Rittich on the Flames. The Oilers are going to have to rely on McJesus and the German Gretzky to outscore to win any game. Plus the Oilers defence hasn't really improved at all. No way in hell Barrie gets over 45 plus points. Stay safe everyone!

Thanks Sean,
It's definitely been a crazy year so I appreciate you giving us all something to take our minds off some of the crazy sh!t going on out there.
Pretty fair assessment of the upcoming season, hopefully the D and Koskinen and Smith can give us a chance to outscore the opposition most nights.
Really looking forward to some goddamn hockey here!

See y'all tomorrow @7
