The least predictable ever?? You’ve never been successful in predicting the predictable years. So I guess you are going to get even less correct than previously?? Not sure that is possible.

Ek you say we have more set sellers than ever before and the market is generally full of buyers.
How does this make sense?
Wouldn't more set sellers than ever before mean fewer buyers?

Well, if someone's buying, doesn't that mean someone has to be selling?

Based on the fact that all NHL teams have lost tens of millions of dollars In the last 11 plus months there Is absolutely no way to predict what may or may not happen at the April trade deadline. I will say this though It's really fun to watch GMs make really stupid decisions on trade deadline day.

it's going to be interesting for the buyers in the North division. with quarantine requirements, will they try to buy early, and will sellers want to sell early?

it's going to put them at a big disadvantage compared to other teams, unless they deal exclusively with other Canadian teams.

Ek you predicted before the season started that Vegas would miss the playoffs. Do you think they'll be sellers at the trade deadline?

What are Hexy and Burkey saying, Ek? Can you let us know what some of the owners and managers around the league are telling you specifically? Is it true that some of the playoff teams this year will actually be sellers, and that they will attempt to team up with Grub Hub to trade concessions to fans at home for cash?

And they're going to pay through the nose for any decent D-Man available.....

I do recall hearing SOMETHING about this before the season started.....

I think we're keeping JVR at this point.

Ghost, meh......should have traded him before the season. Now you'd be lucky to get a quart of Zamboni hydraulic fluid for him. I don't think I've ever seen such a spectacular flame-out before. He's (frank)ing terrible.

The trade deadline that’s almost 2 months away is already up for discussion and being predicted by the blind squirrel of the hockey world. Fantastic stuff

Ek, which top teams have cap space? I see teams like Boston, Carolina, Florida have soom decent cap space. But teams like Tampa, Colorado, Toronto, Edmonton have very little room to manouvre. I know you picked Vegas and Washington to miss the playoffs, but they also have zero cap space. So confusing call here.

Also, why exactly are there more sellers than ever before? How is this different than previous years when there are numerous teams that were way out of contention and in the midst of rebuilding. Like last year...Detroit, Anaheim, Ottawa, Florida, Chicago, San Jose, Buffalo, New Jersey, Montreal were all busy selling. I'm sure this year there will be another 10 teams in the same boat. So can you explain what makes this year different?

Boston has a habit of making teams in their division think like that. Except for the CH part of course.
