I get more impressed each and every Leafs outting with Tyler Bozak, Viktor Stalberg and Nazem Kadri. All have speed and muscle, I didn't think that Kadri had the physicality for the NHL (not yet anyways). Upon further review. He does. I think his listed weight of 167, is off by 10-15 pounds. Another year in junior and he'll make the team next season.
My take on Kadri's shootout goal last night, BOO-YEAH!!! I wonder if Jason Allison taught him that move?
Right now I would say that Stalberg and Bozak make the big club and Hanson starts with the Marlies.
Hell of a shift by Rosehill last night with the two big hits. He made ESPN's #2 play of the night. In Glengarry Glenross terms, I believe that entitles him to a set of steak knives.
By my math, Phil Kessel will miss 20 games, if we're looking at a mid November return. So he'll be getting teacher's pension plan type coin while on hiatus.
I like Kessel, however, giving up a first round and a second round pick in the same draft. That's a lot and the guy will miss a quarter of the season.
Now for some positive waves on Kessel.
He's 22 and can score, he'll put away 25 this season, write that down.

I've been meaning to mention this stupid e-harmony ad for awhile now. You know the one, with the lady with Bette Davis eyes and her voice. She mentions that she had no time to find a boyfriend because she owned her own business. Is that her business in the back ground?? the 100 sq ft store with nothing on the walls, 4 pieces of plastic jewelry and 8 pairs of jeans on a rack?? Here's a tip for the entrepreneur. You don't own a business, you own a table at the Sunday flea market, write that down.
