And then there was one. One spot left for the NHL playoff dance. Habs sit two points up on Columbus. Blue Jackets need to win in regulation on Thursday at home against the Islanders, they also need the Canadiens to lose in regulation on Wednesday against Carolina. And one of those teams will be off to Washington.

Toronto took care of all possible business on Tuesday night in Buffalo. Leafs got their point as did Marner and Matthews got his goal. Now if Nylander can just get five goals on Thursday so he can have 50 on the season.

Leafs first division title (full season) since 1999-00. In fact it's just their second time capturing the regular season division title since 1962-63.

Not to mention Stolarz stellar again. He stopped all 35 shots the Sabres sent his way. Nothing better than having a hot goalie going into the playoffs. Leafs happen to have two. Stolarz has three shutouts in his last four games. In his last 8 starts he's 8-0-0, 1.37GAA, .950SV%, 3SO.
I'd expect to see Woll on Thursday night, he hasn't played at home since March 19th. But he's 12-5-0 in Toronto this season, 2.42GAA, .913SV%.

As far as the Leafs line up on Thursday night, well, since they are capped out. It will be the usual suspects on the ice.

My Leafs against Senators preview will be posted Friday morning. Toronto was 0-3-0 against Ottawa this season with just three goals.
The teams have met four times in the playoffs, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2004. All series won by Toronto.

Thursday morning, I will set up Wings and Leafs.
