This is the ninth straight season, Detroit has missed the playoffs, and they haven't won a post season series since 2013.
Woll has faced Detroit just twice in his career, and both of those games were in December (1-1-0). Knies needs 1 goal to hit 30 on the season, which will double his output of last season. He has one career goal against the Wings in 6 games.
