Mo Seider is ready for the NHL, but there are some exciting prospects who will likely be playing in Grand Rapids. The Prospects Camp Roster will likely be showcasing some of the best of this year’s younger Griffins. While there’s an outside chance that Veleno, Berggren or Raymond could take a spot in Detroit, it seems more likely that they’ll be starting the year hanging out with Griff and Fin. That is worth watching.

AHL TV has posted its pricing. I am personally going to be grabbing the $65 pack (one team, home and away). I enjoy the AHL, and getting the “wide open” pack may be a fantastic deal at $85 for the whole season ($105.99 and you get playoffs too). I will be watching a lot of hockey between Detroit, Grand Rapids, Frolunda highlights, Denver U., Boston and my other favorite NHL teams. (Going to keep an eye on NYR and NJ, not fave teams but are loaded with high picks and free agents). At some point, after 22 years being married, you have to know when to say “when” on how much you watch.

If you grab an AHL package, let me know. Sometimes you can do comments during the games, I’ll keep an eye out for any of the HB faithful. This season is a bit unique as the GR prospects and changes in Detroit are both really exciting for the rebuild. Everything feels “brand new” in so many ways as Yzerman has turned over the roster significantly (again).

We’re three days away from prospect games. It feels like everything will explode soon enough. We’ll be knee deep in games and have too much to report on! I hope you’re all safe and doing well.
