Detroit is streaming the prospects tournament tonight and throughout the weekend. You can get information there. I have the video embed on the blog itself. You can go to Detroit’s website or youtube channel and should be able to see the game starting at 7 PM.

Frolunda beat Skelleftea 2-0 and former Wing Jan Mursak was in on both goals. An assist on the game winner, and an empty net tally to shut the door.

Simon Edvinsson played 18:23 (down from 20:24 in last week’s game). The 6th overall pick from this year had 2 shots, 1 hit and was a +1 (+2 for the year).

Fellow prospect (2019 draft) Elmer Soderblom registered just 6:03 TOI, but managed to SOG. It’s a little disheartening to see the big man down on the 4th line after he’d had an exciting WJC a while back. Hopefully he can earn his way up the depth chart.

Theodor Niederbach, drafted in 2020, similarly played 6:23 (down 2 minutes from the previous game). He didn’t register any shots or hits.
