The Colorado Avalanche have defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning 2-1 in game 6 to claim the franchises first Stanley Cup championship since 2001. It’s the third overall Cup in team history.

Cale Makar won the Norris Trophy a few days ago. He now has a Stanley Cup and Conn Smythe Trophy to go along with it. Makar put up 29 (8g 21a) points in just 20 games. He’s the youngest defender to win it in 52 years.
