A Capital loss..

I have always found it strange when the Thrashers lose to teams like the Capitals. Don't get me wrong I love the Capitals and I love Alexander Ovechkin even more but they aren't a strong team.
I think thats the biggest issue when the Thrashers face "lower" teams, they fail to play their game.
The final score was 3 to 2 but I honestly feel that doesn't reflect the game. The Thrashers were lucky to get two.
I was looking through NHL.com this morning to read the reports on the game and I wasn't surprised when I found these 2 quotes from Thrashers players.
The first came from Keith Tkachuk -"I hope this was a kick in the rear for us tonight," Atlanta's Keith Tkachuk said after the first-place Thrashers failed to extend their one-point lead over Tampa Bay in the Southeast Division.
If the Thrashers had won last night they could have extended their lead but due to the loss Saturday's home game (which is by the way the last game of the season- before post season of course) is going to be very exciting.
The 2nd came from defenseman Andy Sutton- "They wanted the puck more," Sutton said. "You play like that in a critical game against a team that is not in the playoffs, you don't deserve to win."
The reason why I post these quotes is because I am not the only one who thought last night's loss was pretty ridiclous. If you are going to say that you don't agree then talk to these two players and see what they say.
Overall whenever Alexander Ovechkin is in town bring your A game, he may be one person but we all know what he is capable of. I just find it funny how we always seem to go back in forth with the Capitals. Anyways, moving on to the next 2 games.

Saturday's home game is going to be very, very exciting. I can't wait.
