The Bruins have come to terms with new contracts for restricted free agents Sean Kuraly and Anton Blidh. Kurlay's deal is a three-year contract with an annual cap hit of $1.275 million. Blidh's is a one-year, two-way deal that comes with a $650,000 cap hit.

Kuraly enters his third NHL season with the Bruins, totaling 15 points in 83 games. In his two seasons with the Bruins, Kuraly has appeared in 14 playoff games scoring four times and adding two assists.

Blidh skated in 71 games for the Providence Bruins last season, recording 11 goals and 15 assists for a career-high 26 points. Blidh appeared in just one game for the Bruins last season after playing in 19 games with Boston in 2016-17, tallying one goal and one assist.

As of now, the Bruins have an opening at center behind Patrice Bergeron and David Krejci. After Don Sweeney addressed the opening on Sunday, it sounds like the job will be filled from within.

"It’s likely internal at this point, yes, and we have some very strong candidates. We have some
young players that certainly want that slot, and we have a couple of guys internally that I think
can move up and play that slot," said Sweeney.

After playing the fourth-line center role last season, you would think the job is Kuraly's to lose. When needed, Kuraly was able to slide into the third line role and has the skillset to maintain a spot in the role.

"Sean Kuraly is certainly a player that wants to have a bigger role, and then you
have the three younger players that we feel, and we also have a couple of other guys that we’ve added to the group that we’re going to go to work with and see where they fit in," added Sweeney.

After losing Tim Schaller and Riley Nash via free agency, the Bruins secured some fourth-line depth with the signings of Chris Wagner and Joakim Nordstrom.

With Kuraly back in the mix, the third line seems secure as well. Baring any type of trade, it looks like the Bruins projected roster is set.
