Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) has announced the best players in four categories for the month of November.

The best goalie of the month is no other than the ''CSKA'' Moscow goalie, (NYI prospect) Ilya Sorokin who led his team to six victories in as many games when he stepped on the ice. During the six-game stint, he was beaten only twice, recording four shutouts and registering 247 minutes without a goal against. That was the third longest streak in KHL history.

23-year old Ilya shutdown 98,46% of the shots he faced with 0.33 GAA as well as scoring one assist.

Best defenceman of the month with 12 points (3+9) was Darren Dietz from ''Barys'' Astana. Last month the Canadian averaged 24:19 of ice-time, shooting 44 times, blocking 7 opposing shots and earned a +9 rating.

Best forward of the month honor was earned by Nigel Dawes who scored 7 goals and recorded 7 assists in ten games. Dawes earned points in eight out of ten games he played, shooting 39 times and scoring 14 hits.

Rookie of the month went to Nikita Mikhailov of ''Sibir'' Novosibirsk. The 20-year old player took part in nine games scoring 4 points (3+1) averaging 13:53 of ice time shooting 11 times and blocking 7 shots.
