Aside from the notable additions of Ryan Strome and Frank Vatrano, the Anaheim Ducks also announced the signing of five other players this week.

The Ducks signed forward Chase De Leo to a two-year contract, which carries a $762,500 cap hit. De Leo is 26 years old and spent several years within the Ducks organization but spent last season with the AHL’s Utica Comets, scoring 56 points in 55 games.

Forward Glenn Gawdin was also signed to a two year contract at the same cap hit. Gawdin is 25 years old and scored 15 goals and 50 points in 62 AHL games with the Stockton Heat this season.

The Ducks also signed 25-year-old forward Justin Kirkland to a one-year contract at $750,000 cap hit. Kirkland scored 25 goals and 48 points in 66 games while playing with Gawdin in Stockton.

Defenseman Austin Strand was also signed to a one-year contract at a $750,000 cap hit. Strand is a 25-year-old right-handed defenseman and this past season, he played eight games with the Los Angeles Kings, spending the majority of the season with the AHL’s Ontario Reign.

Colton White was perhaps the most notable addition of the five. The 25-year-old defenseman played with the New Jersey Devils this season, managing four assists in 27 games. His contract is for two years and carries a $762,500 cap hit.
