After posting a 1-2-3 record during the North American portion of their preseason schedule, the exhibition slate wraps up on Monday as the Flyers take on Swiss National League team Lausanne HC at the brand new Vaudoise Arena in Lausanne. Game time is 2 p.m. EDT.
The game will be televised nationally on NBC Sports Network and locally on NBCSP+. The radio broadcast is on 97.5 The Fanatic with an online simulcast at
Flyers Radio 24/7.
The Flyers have brought 14 forwards (including PTO winger Chris Stewart and injury rehabbing winger Tyler Pitlick) on the trip to Europe, along with eight defensemen and three goaltenders. The spare goaltender, brought along in case of an injury, is Lehigh Valley Phantoms goalie Alex Lyon.
It is common in Europe for teams to dress as many as 22 players for a game. The Flyers will have a fourth defense pair dressed for this game; thus being able to play all of the defensemen on the trip. The healthy scratches will be Stewart and Lyon.
