Anthony Beauchamp doubled the lead early in the second when banking in a rebound. Later in the period, Isaac Dufort redirected Anthony Beauregard’s pass for a goal as he was crashing towards the net. The Mariners cut the lead to two goals in the third and with 5:28 remaining in regulation, Vincent Sevigny made it a three-goal game with a shot from the blue line during a man advantage.

Isaac Dufort broke the tie with a power play goal at the 13:26 mark of the second period, followed by a goal by Tommy Cormier before the intermission and another in the early stages of the final frame. Morgan Adams-Moisan added to the lead with 5:33 remaining and extended his point streak to four games with his goal.
