Habs Suffer Their Fifth Straight Loss in Anaheim.

Heading into Sunday’s game, the Montreal Canadiens had five games remaining before the NHL February stoppage for the Four Nations Faceoff. It also coincided with a strength of schedule ranked third easiest in the league for their remaining 31 games of the regular season.
With Anaheim and San Jose on the schedule, two bottom five teams, it was expected that the Habs could end their recent four-game skid. But that was not to be the case.
After holding a 2-0 lead for the first 33 minutes of the game, the Canadiens surrendered three unanswered goals to run their losing streak to five games. Coach Marty St. Louis said, “We're not getting dominated, but we’re finding ways to lose.”
