Cookes knee never changed course, Barrie tried to get out of the way and put himself in that position. No suspension, take the hit. |

The NHL would be a better place without Pittsburgh fans. Tell me that's a natural skating position, sticking your knee out like that. |

It was a scumbag move. Looks like Cooke was beat, and he stuck his knee out and changed the angle to ensure contact. |

Maybe now all the people who think Dustin brown is a dirty player can see what real intent to injure knee in knee looks like. |

If you look at the reverse angle, there was no contact between Barrie's knee or leg or Cooke's knee. All of the motion was Barrie avoiding contact. Roy is all about lobbying. How did Dr. Roy have a diagnosis so fast. I find it interesting that injuries are not usually disclose that quickly or specifically. |

This league is a joke. They will throw the book at guys like Cooke but allow the cheap shots from guys like Chara and Lucic all day long. $5k for a repeat offender in Lucic for spearing. Chara leads with the elbow in 1/2 his hits. |

Are you serious ? Cooke Targeted his knee . I am not an Avs or Wild fan . Neutral observer. You think the Avs are faking the injury to get Cooke suspended as he is such a game changer ? |

actually you should be feeling bad for players like Scott Walker, Fedor Tyutin, Ryan McDonagh, Artem Anisimov, Marc Savard, and now Tyson Barrie who have been recklessly hurt by this guy.
I'm sure I've missed others but for anyone to defend this guy is just as egregious. |

I know but I don't. A little for Savard, but he came back way to early and fought people and I don't feel Cooke intentionally hit him in the head. I don't think any of the players actually intentionally hit other players in the head. |

How does it feel to know that you support knee on knee hits and dirty players in the game of hockey. You must be real proud of yourself. |
