The one and only post from you that I'll agree with. That video was moving.
But it also reminds me of what a great captain is. Jonathan toews is one of the greats; and there's no room for argument.

Great read, this kind of stuff is really sad. You would think these guys would be happy after the NHL with all the money they have but it seems like so many of them can't figure out what to do with themselves without hockey. With all of the injuries Pat Kaleta has had over the years, I hope he doesn't have to go through this kind of stuff in the future.

This is a great example of why I read Garth's blog. Garth, I hope you get a great gig as a sports writer. That would be well deserved.

The amount of pain and suffering in many or most NHL players must be the highest in all of pro sports. It's unreal. We all love the sport, but I guess this outcome is more common than the league or the owners will ever admit.
