prequill is that little bit of ink that sneaks off a quill. It is the causing factor in many unplanned ink splotches |

at least they didn't get thumped by the Bruins and lose every fight in the process then follow THAT up with an embarrassing 3-0 loss to NJ |

Rask is overrated. So good to see merchant not playing. And great seeing the American captain of the Canadians, love it |

You realize NJ is only 4 points off Montreal with 2 games in hand, and are 1-0-1 against the Habs this year? |

So now they don't need any top 6 help! Now they no longer have any glaring holes. |

Give it a few games would ya?
I will admit though, Gallagher does bring a level of "give a (frank)" that seems to spread to other players. |

Plenty of room to improve in the top 6 still, this Bruins team was depleted with injuries |

With all the gimmicky, corny hoopla they could muster to hype up the game, to see the Bruins fall flat on their face to their arch rivals in front of their biggest home crowd ever is probably the most hilariously satisfying thing that will happen in this new year. Everything about the game was perfect, local boys Condon and Flynn producing (Brady and Belichick's blessing on Condon's mask), Irish kid Gallagher picking up right where he left off and Patches, as a true captain, making sure the Bruins stay down by restoring that 3 goal lead. Not to mention Julien's usual sore loser, end game antics and seeing Raask lose it all the way to the waaaaahhh-mbulance! This is one for the ages! Go Habs go! |

Those so called Winter Classic games are no classic. How can anyone enjoy watching a game from those views. It is bad enough watching from the last row in a regular rink. Pay big money and for What? Answer a bad seat? I would not waste my time or money on crap like that. Just to say you were there, doesn't cut it. But I have been saying for a long time......PEOPLE ARE STUPID |

I called it when it happened, the Habs will miss Gallagher more than they will miss Price. The Habs don't solely rely on their goalie (not this year), and what Gallagher brings to this forward group, no one else brings. He's also got a way of motivating his teamates that, frankly, Pacioretty seems to be missing.
And while all seems well for the moment, no way we still don't need top 6 help. If Gallagher is the only player making this offense work, it's proof it's not strong enough yet. |

they're still 2 forwards away from having a legitimate top 6

Maybe MB can learn from this and make a deal for another guy like this, but probably not |
