The year before last year, he was producing like this. So maybe it's just a case of him being the new Vinny Prospal ; )

i.e. : 55, 79, 54, 80, 55, 71, 45, 58

He just looks more comfortable in his own skin this season. Second season as captain and you can just tell he's a little more at ease. Glad for him.

I didn't get to see the game, and even though I am glad the CBJ got a break on the review, this is a reason why video reply should not be allowed in the NHL. If the offsides was so close that it took a video coach to see it after multiple looks, then it's a call that shouldn't be reviewed. If its an obvious miss that's one thing; but it sounded like it was a very, very close call. I just hope we don't get burned during the season the same way it happened to the Caps last night.

It struck me on the way home listening to the radio call of the last few minutes and the post-game; IMO the biggest difference in this team over the last two years is that the core of the team has matured. After all the problems and struggles it seems the leadership is mature and really leading, and Foligno is comfortable with the C. Sometimes you have to go through adversity to harden up and be mentally strong, and we are seeing the results on the ice this year.
