How would Vegas winning the cup be an embarrassment to the NHL? They are an NHL team with the same rights and ability to compete as all the other teams. Over the course of the season, they have proven to be an elite team. You seem pissy pants because they did not get the memo to give up because they are an expansion team.

How are they an embarrassment? Players weren't protected by their previous team, pisses them off, they play with a chip on their shoulder and show their revenge on the ice!
Same with Gallant, he was stupidly let go by the Panthers (in a very non-professional way too!) and is proving how much of a great coach he is!

It would have been super easy for both the players and coach to mail it in for their 1st year and nobody would've blamed them...Ironically, now haters blame them for being successful with a supposedly bad team that everyone and their dog wrote off before the 1st game of the pre-season!!

What's bad for the NHL, is having the same 4 teams winning every year for almost a decade! Not this Cinderella storybook team or even to a lesser degree, OV finally getting his Cup...
