Not sure what has been worse the last 25+ years: Flyers getting a real goalie or Habs getting a real center...

Can the Flyers trade Hakstol and his coaches, too? I'm sure they can get a bag of pucks in return.....

If Hextall is even thinking a goalie is going to help this team at all right now he should be canned with everyone else.

While the NHL goalies have been mediocre at best, blaming all of the Flyers issues on them is simply lazy...kinda like how the forwards back check...or how the special teams play...or how they clear the zone, or how the enter the zone.

If the players have quit on the coach, the question isn't how fast do we get rid of the coach, but why is this same group of players quitting on another coach. Could it be that they are the problem because...they are.

Well NYI may be looking to get rid of Ho Sang maybe. I don’t know too much about him since his draft year and him being a brat kid. But maybe that’s where the deal goes.

MTL I have no clue who the kings would want. If it was a couple years ago I’d say Tatar but who knows at this point. No idea who’s really in their prospect pool. Maybe MB will be dumb enough to give the kings a 2nd rounder and call it a day. They did take King for what a 3rd? Yeah how’d that turn out? I hated king and laughed so hard that MTL and their fans thought he was a god send. He was a terrible player

Some up front scoring and more speed for muzz in may not be the worse idea,and as u said the cap relief would be good.

How do you see the Kings moving forward?

Do you want to see a scorched-earth rebuild? Or a re-tool?

I think the Kings should deal all their top players, even Doughty if possible. Acquire as many picks as possible. Tank and grab a Hughes or Lafreniere... Call up the Leafs and see if they're interested in a Doughty for Nylander+ type deal..

But.. They'll probably trade for a 3rd liner and continue to suck... If they do decide to rebuild at least they have some valuable assets and there are some very good players coming up in the draft..

A buddy told me he heard a potential swap between LA and Tor. Gardiner and a signed Nylander for Doughty. I think the rumour is ridiculous but also fits with most of the stuff I read on here so I just thought I would put it out there.

Smith has a stellar .869 save percentage, so he should be on par with the other clusterpoops the Flyers have had in goal for the majority of the last 25 years.

If you were to read back, you would see that i wrote DD for WN +. Leafs have lots of tradable assets and picks.

Kopitar is yesterdays NHL..

Either way, like i said.. i don't want Doughty, but the Kings need to inject some youth and speed into that offence because right now its total dogpoop and should be embarrassed to call itself an NHL team.
