I give them a reasonable chance to get 2 points tonight. As good as Tampa Bay appears to be, i've watched a few of their last several games and they do seem a bit vulnerable defensively, but that being said, Wild cannot make too many mistakes defensively themselves or they will have no chance. |

Hmmm, TB has at least 3 guys that have over 30 goals each. This one could get ugly, really fast. My hope is the Wild basically runs 3 lines (replacing Aberg with Foligno when they can), sore 4 quick goals and play defense for the rest of the game. Although, it seems to me, the Wild have generally had TB's number. For some reason, they generally play pretty good against them. Wild win this game, it should start to put a little fear in some of the teams in the West. |

Good game. Wild deserved that win. Worst Lightning have looked in months. Credit to the Wild. |

Wild played well defensively, but I’ll concede they got a lot of bounces their way tonight. They were very opportunistic. Wild always seem to play well against Tampa Bay for some reason. |

Well it got ugly alright, ugly for Tampa! Now 6-0-2. I am still impressed with how well they are playing and how quickly they have turned it around after a rough stretch. While I feel Dumba would really help this team, I wonder if the extra speed and youth has been a big reason. No disrespect to the captain, but this Wild team reminds of the team that beat the Blues in the playoffs years ago. The blues wanted to play a physical game but they couldn't catch any of the Wild players to hit them. Steve Ott was so pissed in that series! |

Ive been down on this team all year, but i really think they could take a 1st round series at this point. They could be heating up at the right time. Anyone know if dumba will be back at all this year? I know they said there was a chance, but who knows how he'd look if he was able to return. |

Just another fun game to watch, with the added bonus that the Wild win again. Quite of few BIG hits thrown last night...thought it might start to get pretty chippy, but it didn't. I'm happy to see that Dubnyk finally got a shutout too. Was I the only one just waiting for that first TB goal with around 5 minutes left?
As for taking a 1st Rd series, I'm not holding my breath just yet. In years past, we have seen the Wild play OUTSTANDING hockey towards the end of the year, only to come back down to earth with 2-3 games left in the regular season and not have anything left in the tank for the playoffs. I am not really sure if this year's teams is any different, but I sure hope they are! |
