The Gourde/Gaudreau line will be Tampa’s key to this series. Montreal has yet to face a team with a third line with that level of skill.

Did Tampa recently trade for Johnny Gaudreau?

If the Gourde/Gaudreau line dominates it could be Tampa in 4. But if Cole Caulfield is playing well then it could be Habs in 7. Price is the current Dryden, Plante and Roy. So maybe it's Habs in 4?

But Vazy can match Price so it could be Tampa in 5. I always say that if a team scores more goals than their opponent odds are they will win the series. So it's looking like Tampa in 6. But don't be surprised if it's Habs in 5.

I said before the Playoffs started that the Habs would either win the SCF in 6 or lose in 7. I'll stick to this. I'm picking the Habs to win in 8. Johnny Gaudreau wins the Conn Smythe.

I've seen a lot of Cinderella runs in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Sadly, the clock usually strikes midnight in the finals. Habs have been a wonderful story but I think they turn into a pumpkin and lose this in 5.

The only asterisk you need for this one is if Tampa Bay wins.

The Gaudreau for a used skate protector deal just went through this morning. Also the lightning will be renamed the Tpa Bay Cap Circumventors in a related move. Carey Price also switched teams, he truly is the difference maker. I guess he was too scary for Tampa to keep him off their roster...
