No because I haven't seen him play. As was stated in previous threads, if he couldn't get a game in with the big club with half the team out, then he probably wasn't that good. Who knows, maybe he was still adjusting to the American game.

I know there's been some pretty embarrassing sports franchises across the world in the past, but has one ever had the locks changed on the doors to their own stadium mid-season?

LOL, what a way to run a business. There is only 32 NHL franchises and this is how you treat it.

Barry Trotz says Brock Nelson and Casey Cizikas are "days away" from returning after skating with the team this morning.

"Hopefully we get there sooner rather than later."

Hopefully those two will be back in the lineup Saturday for the Devils game

Newfoundland Growlers of the ECHL, this season:

Yeah, I'm bored.

I'm going to keep googling - there must be a few others

I guess I meant more top-league teams, but still relevant and equally-hilarious

Coyotes should have been move to Vegas. The NHL didn't do this because they wanted the $500 Million expansion fee. Meanwhile this is a black eye on the entire league.

Which raises the interesting question:

Now that there are 32 teams (and I sincerely doubt the NHL will want to add to that number), will the NHL be more willing to allow a franchise to relocate?

I thought I read somewhere they were interested in expanding to 34 teams, which would be terrible, but I can't find it so maybe not.

I'd imagine they'd be more willing to relocate now since there really isn't an expansion option. They gotta get the Coyotes out of Arizona, it's a total (frank)ing embarrassment for the league. This arena situation, whatever carousel of hockey arenas they'll be rotating around next year, the draft testing fiasco, the late-bonus payments, the allegations of a hostile workplace from ownership on down (that's all just in the last year or less lol), and everything else that poopbag franchise has forced the NHL to endure should be more than enough reason for getting them out of there. Houston is the layup relocation city. It keeps them in the West and they seem to be "next in line" for a team one way or another.

You would think so but if there's $500 Million to make it clouds ones judgement. That said the NHL is going to have to relocate the Yotes as this project has been going on for way too long and I don't see the shat show changing anytime soon. These financially floundering teams don't add anything to the leagues image except negativity. They would be best served to move them to a location that can support and wants an NHL franchise so that they can be successful.
