I'd probably flip Thompson with Grits and Foote with Clarke, but this is about what I expected.

Hughes and Hamilton really do make a difference. A shame we have to wait 6 weeks until the deadline.

Didnt miss much. Same story as pretty much every game. Devils were the better team, but didn't finish and goaltending wasn't good.

The loss was bad (I have said that too much this season already) but the presser afterwards was worse. Ruff blaming the inability to score as the main issue. Trotting out an AHL rookie goal tender was issue #1. Poor, sloppy defensive play was #2. The insistence on making one more pass before shooting is another. All of this can be laid on the feet of management. Yes shooting is a problem. The ship is going down and they are rearranging the deck chairs; it has to end soon, please....
