just like Ducharme, STL probably won't sit Petry, no matter what... they'll continue giving him minutes in the hopes that he gets out of this neverending funk, benching him definitely wouldn't help if the plan is to trade him.

1/ not gonna judge 1 way or another after 2 games, not even after 10.

2/ like I said, I believe he was heading for a role in player development / scouting, so I except he is doing some of the things he was already expected to do... just more of it directly with players on a daily basis.

oh I agree 100%, I'm just talking from an external point of view so far, assuming that Caufield's resurgence isn't purely coincidental, and that STL does indeed have the impact he seems to have on the players' confidence level.

Mercy finally for Primeau. God those games were hard to watch for him/
