i can't wait til he's on one of the studio shows but you guys are gonna get him on one of your shows up there. i'd gladly trade in messier for subban on the espn studio show.

Who would have thought back in 2018 when the Canadiens sent its disgruntled captain to the Vegas Golden Knights that less than 4 years later the Knights would be forced to give him away for nothing?

Most fans knew Vegas was taking massive short term risks that would result in cap casualties in the future.

I think his injuries, on top of the lack-of-on-ice-hockey focus, have really hurt his game.

But it would be interesting to see what MSL's system and usage could do for potentially reviving his career.

On a cheap 1-2 year deal, worse case he is a maybe 4, likely 5-6 vet guy.

There is a potential upside here, if the Habs want to take a risk and Subban is willing to take a lot less money and understand he will have less of a role.

Not against it, the media firestorm would at least give us something interesting for a few weeks over the summer, but not something I'd really consider.
