As rookie camp approaches, it’s time to wonder who will manage to crack the line-up this year and that question is particularly interesting when it comes to the Canadiens’ blue line with roster spots up for grabs.

I have a feeling they will grab a RHD on the waiver wire when the season starts, when teams are looking to get under the cap to start the season with a full roster.
That way Baron, Guhle and Norlinder can play in the AHL to start the season.

me neither, but I'm trying to manage my expectations, I'm obviously not expecting them to win but there are no guarantees that they'll be fun to watch during this learning process either lol...

well I know it's "ok", but there's a difference between losing hard-fought games where the young guys give a good effort and learn something, and losing because everyone is completely lost on the ice and no one knows what the (frank) they're doing.

well, it's almost the same lineup they had last year. same group of forwards for sure beside maybe Slafkovsky and it's not even sure.
a few kids back on defense yes.

Not many spots for rookies up front.
I guess Dach is a new young player to look forward to. Otherwise, Suzuki and Caufield were already there.

yeah but I'm not judging anything based on last year, it was a complete mess and basically everyone was playing below expectations
