The flyers have beat the metro leading caps twice in 2 weeks? There are 3 teams ahead of the caps I believe or could be 2 but caps have played more games

Also thanks to Florida for the addition of Andrew Brunette on the devil's coaching staff

Boldys sample size as a pro is far to small to throw that kind of money at him but Guerin has been known to make reckless financial moves since day one as Wild GM. Not sure yet if Minnesota will make the playoffs but if they do it will be another one and done with this group.

He'll trade him this summer for a lesser cap hit and a pick, so don't worry about it.

People said the same thing when he signed Kirill for $9 Mil. Boldy, JEE and Kirill are the core going forward.

Last year Fiala got off to a slow start. Boldy came up and Fiala blew up after Boldy joined his line. Boldy helped Fiala and Fiala helped Boldy. This year Boldy is playing with average players but still has good numbers. It’s risky but a 7 year deal to a 21 yo with his upside is a good risk imo.

Thoughts on perhaps Booner Jenner being moved, say to COL? He would be a super solid 2C there I think, and only $3.75 cap hit for the next 3 season. Could slide to 3C in 1-2 years if needed as Newhook develops...likely cheaper to attain than Toews, Horvat, etc...

You just mushed your own team. Nice work.

The Caps haven't led the Metro at any point this year. This isn't an innocent mistake where they led 3 days ago but have slipped to 2nd today. They've never been close.

And Buffalo is not a bubble team. Nor did anyone in Buffalo realistically expect to be a playoff team this year. Nobody is catching Boston, Toronto, Tampa. That's 3 automatic playoff teams now. The other 5 are coming from the Metro.

As for Philly...in the last dozen games they beat Columbus, San Jose, Anaheim, Arizona, Buffalo. Now look what happens when they played higher quality teams...

Beat Washington twice. Beat LA. Not bad.
Demolished 6-0 by Boston. Demolished 6-2 by Toronto. Lost to Carolina. Lost to NYR. Another loss to Toronto.

Philly sucks.

The caps have never lead the Metro this year, it's always been Carolina and the Devils...

seriously dude, do some research, have some journalistic integrity (unless you put in false information tot get people to make fun of it in the comments)

They even suck at sucking. If you're not going to compete and there's a talent like Bedard available you have to find a way to up the chances for that #1 pick. Or...you can play mediocre, close to .500 hockey and just hope for more Pat Browns and Zac MacEwens to get you to the Cup.
