They need to find someone to play with Huberdeau. He's ALWAYS looking to pass, and usually tries to put it through defenders (they're mostly solid, so this rarely works) or passes back instead of chipping it forward and chasing. If there's a board battle, Hubie will lose it more often than not.

Time to see what he can do on the fourth line, I figure.

I felt bad for Vladar-- he played rather well, but really overcommitted on the winning goal. That looked awful.
Still-- if your teammates can't put more than one past the goalie at the other end, the chances of you winning were already slim.

So many are wanting to blow it up its hard to read. This is typical at the best of times, 1 year we look like the making of a dynasty & then next year we are a bubble team at best. Personally, I think Huberdeau taking the trade so personal when it happened has really affected his ability to acclimatize himself to a new team. Happens. My bet is he will be better next year, Markstrom will be way better next year & the Flames will be a playoff team. If we make it this year as the 2nd wildcard, that will be nothing short of pure luck & ineptness of the other bubble teams. I am really hoping Treliving was sincere about what he said in his interview on Sportsnet in that the team really hasnt given him a reason to be a buyer at the trade deadline. Coronato, Zary, Wolf & Pelts nor our 1st this year should "not" be traded under no circumstances for any quick bandaid.

It’s incredible how poor Hubs has looked. He is not having any fun out there. No one is. They need to bring in someone that can play with Hubs. Duclair is cheap and would not cost much.

My only reservation with Duclair is the Achilles tear. No experience on that front, but it surely doesn’t help his acceleration. Might be a gamble.

Thank you for all the great things you’ve done for this team Sutter !! But now the best you could do is walk away with some pride left, your style and systems no longer work with these entitled brats for players, almost all of them need a kick in the ass to adjust the poor attitude and efforts given !! And Lucic bud time to call it a career before you embarrass yourself out of the game.

I love Darryl but im also starting to think a coaching change may be the move rather than a big trade. As Lubo is pointing out on the pregame show we are very easy to defend and I also think we lack a lethal 1 timer on our PP big time.

If Darryl would step aside or be removed is Kirk Muller the guy to turn this around fast and salvage a playoff birth?

Ritchie is back in after missing 14 games. Ruzicka draws out. Might have something to do with his effort on the game winner on Thursday. Markstrom starts.

Flames need to split up everyone and revamp all 4 lines. Mang and Pelletier seem to be playing good.

And yet in the intermision Francis claims Pelts is on the hot seat to stay in the lineup..... what has he been watching Pelts has been one of our best players in his 7 games!!

I dated a chick who was an alcoholic for a brief moment.

She was gorgeous, smart, and fun to be around when she was sober.

She was a nightmare when she started to drink.

I feel like the Flames have a drinking problem.

Sutter cited “road legs” as a factor in the loss to the Red Wings.

If Treliving isn't trying to save his job, he shouldn't waste any assets or picks on rentals.

Our fourth line needs help from the Wranglers on the wings.

We have 9 games remaining before the deadline and they need 14-15 of those 18 points before I would be on board with trading any picks or prospects.

I'm fine with some combination of Looch, Lewis, Ritchie or Duerr playing 8-10 physical minutes a night.... if we make any deals at the deadline I would prefer we deal Rozi rather than a pick.

I would like to see Dhuer get more playing time. He seems to bring more energy than Ritchie. Maybe he can be a spark for Luc and Lewis.
